Whether you choose to read in the morning, during lunch breaks, or before bedtime, having a designated reading time helps you stay consistent. If your kids can read by themselves, you can set a family reading time before their bedtime. So you can teach them to read every day while you enjoy your favourite book. This consistency can help you build a routine and make it easier to keep up with your reading.

I take a book with me when I pick up my kid at school or sports, go to the beach or on road trips, visit doctors, etc. Sometimes, I leave a book in my car, another in the bedroom, and another in my bag.

Keep a reading journal or use apps like Goodreads to track your reading progress and share recommendations with friends. You can also share your progress and the books you’ve read on social media. Tracking your progress can enhance your reading experience by keeping you engaged, motivated, and organized. It makes your reading habit more intentional and meaningful.
